Hello Trappers,

Well, things here in Calif. are moving along slow, what else is new. The rendezvous was a blast. Ralk about a good time. It was had by all of us that were there. Louie did the barbecue chicken and was it ever good. If you didn’t get your fill, it was your fault. Talked about the bills that are going through the state. My fingers I don’t think they can work that long trying to say all that is going on. One thing for sure, we are on top of it and we have other people that have a lot of know how also working on them. When good news comes in, I will let all know. Even some bad. No one will be left in the dark. This last trapping season was a good one. A lot of fur came out of the state and the fur prices are going up, some faster than others. The ’cat prices are holding high, with muskrats coming up. Let’s hope the market holds till the next season. Well, that is it for a while as this weekend I have to go get some sheep killing coyotes. If I do, then I get to go deer hunting on this ranch I have worked for years to get on. Things like that get us trappers on land where no one else gets to go. We don’t over do it, we stay in the law. — John Clark
