PRESIDENT’S REPORT

Hello trappers,

It has been some time as I have been on the go, with work and hunting. As time goes by so fast you look at the days left to get something done and think well we will get at tomorrow. And the next thing you are passed the day you had to get it done it has been that way for some time. Hope this finds all of you with a good amount of fur on the boards drying. As the moneys we want to get for our furs depends of how it is handled so it is a good thing we take a little longer to get done right. Keep it clean and combed nice. The more you get for the furs the more you want to go get more fur. Some places here in calif. It is snowing and other places the rain is a pain in the you know where. Make sure that you read all the new laws in this state that will help you stay out of trouble with the law.

As for the law the law suit is coming along fine we go to court in about 3 months what was told to me some time back. So lets hope all goes well. I have been talking to a lot of people about the anti’s and what they want and what we the trappers want and i have learned a lot that we could use to help us and well i wont go there until I get more info. So far it is all good for the trappers more fur with less hassle. I will try to have more info later. Got to get my calls and box traps and me back out in the hills. — John Clark
