Welcome to Chris and Mary Roughen of Castle Rock, and to three new members recruited by Allen Chubbuck: Josh Harding, Buena Vista; Brenda Howe, Carbondale; and Dean Howe, Genoa.
Also, we send condolences to the family of John and Doris Peterman. John passed away on December 21 at the age of 93. He had been a trapper for 80 plus years, and had received the CTA’s coveted Trapper of the Year award in 2002. Doris had been John’s better half for 68 years, and passed away December 31 of a broken heart. I hope everyone has had a productive fur season. The CTA fur auction is fast approaching, in fact by the time this is printed, the auction will be very close. The auction days are Feb 13 & 14 2013 and the furs all have to be received by Feb 9 & 10 2013. Look for our ad in the trapper for more information.
