The Fur Harvesters Auction sale that concluded earlier this week is the last major wild fur sale of the season. Following the June 18 sale, FHA reported an all-time historical gross sales record for the season.
“The highlight of the sale was the muskrat auction seeing the entire offering selling 100 percent at an all-time historically high average of $14.27,” an FTA news release reported. “Never have muskrats achieved such a level, and this was made possible by the Chinese market that continues to dominate.”
