DIRECTOR’S REPORT

Hello all, hope this early fall finds you working on your traps. I have been busy measuring wells for the water district, starting on some early fall farming since we have moisture and coaching football again this year. I need to start working on traps since September is already here and October is right around the corner.

I know prices sound like they have dipped quite a bit but I encourage everyone to get out and enjoy this great sport that we love. Please remember this season that just because a trap or set location is legal does NOT mean it is wise to set it there! Please be aware of bad PR that may arise by setting near highly frequented areas; campgrounds, trailheads, boat docks, populated areas, etc. Just use some common sense this season and it will alleviate a lot of issues that may arise and lets keep any issues from hitting the papers. Good luck and get some steel ready! — Rusty Kramer
