REGION 3 REPORT
It’s been almost a year since I placed any thing in the column. I know there was a mention in the previous news letter about our 50th convention this coming fall (Oct.5-6) One of the request I have, is for the people that have taken some pictures of our conventions of the past 50 years to send one or some to me, Paul Kelley PO Box 75 Hudson, IL. 61748.
I will place them on a so called picture wall for viewing. If you have a name or date the photo was taken please indicate so. I have a few pictures that date back to New Salem State Park, and many more throughout the years, but I’m quite sure others have some very good reminders that TIME has not been friendly to everyone. Gordon Rubeck John Wilson, Harry Deatherage, Mik Mohr, Gary Armstrong and many more most likely have a few to contribute to the project. If you do have some don’t sit on them and wait till next fall. Dig some out and send them to me so we can all reminisce a bit. Thanks in advance! Oh, yes I will return the pictures to all that participate.
Here’s wishing you all a fruitful trapping season, and remember to save a few furs back for out state auctions in January.
