PRESIDENT’S REPORT

Minutes of Meeting

July 12, 2012

 

The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Minutes of last meeting were read and accepted.

Treasurer’s report was read and accepted.

 

OLD BUSINESS

Anthony Ashley and Sarah Crysler will receive their scholarships.

NYSTA made the new raffle tickets for the bear hunt. Contact Al LaFrance if you need more.

 

NEW BUSINESS

The Sierra Club has made an official announcement that they are anti-trapping, not a surprise!

The Crossbow Bill passed the Assembly but died in the Sentate. There’s next year.

The Southern tier bow season will open Oct. 1.

We have received fur for our outings. Prices have gone up. We will have to adjust our prices as well. We should order the tickets for the Sports Show now.

Oswego County Trappers will have their rondy on Sept. 14 and 15 at Camp Zerby in Williamstown.

Bill Howe donated a dozen bodygrip traps for our door prizes. A BIG thank you to him.

Thanks to Tim and Sid for the food. Very good! Rich will supply food for the August meeting.

Ralph Ashley won the bodygrip trap.

 

COUNTY REPORTS

Tim will get the reports from Madison, Cortland and Onondaga.
