DISTRICT 16 REPORT
KS Fur Harvesters District #16 met on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 at 5 p.m.
There were 31 members and guests in attendance.
We signed up one new family and renewed another family.
All those in attendance enjoyed a wild game dinner. On the menu was deer, Alaskan salmon, squirrel, duck, rabbit, Western KS pheasant, salads, crackers, a meat & cheese tray, blackberry cobbler, cookies, chocolate pie, coffee and tea. It sure was GOOD!
After the meal, John opened the meeting by wishing everyone a Happy Valentines Day. He then told us about the Outdoor Channel and gave everyone a time and topic list. He also showed us the article in the Fur Takers Magazine. It was very nice.
Mr. Erbe’s daughter told us about the 4H shooting club. They asked for our help to buy new air rifles for the kids.
Charlie motioned that we purchase two new rifles (one for each age group). It was seconded by Jim and voted on. 100 percent passed.
Rick Bunyard also donated $100 to purchase one.
Our next meeting will be May 2010. Come join us.
