VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT

As fall is fast approaching us, hopefully some cooler weather, and the many outdoor activities are getting here for the youth. In just a few days, the state fair will be here, North Central Kansas Outdoor Youth Fair, fur harvesters education classes, and especially the KS Furharvesters Rendezvous. Am looking forward to seeing all from across the state and from other states who make the trip to Osborne County Fairgrounds. Mark your calendars for Oct. 7-8-9 so you don’t forget. Cleo is getting a nice line-up for people to put demos on for each and all.

It was mentioned last month of having a wild game feed on Friday. Due to lack of interest, it has been decided not to have it. Don’t forget also that it is election year. Get your nominations sent to John Borrer, so they can be put on the ballot.

Before setting steel this fall, be sure and read your new regulation booklets, as there are some changes. From some past incidents over the state the body grip tags are having some stipulations put on them. If you have any questions you may contact your local Conservation Officer. It is best to ask before, than to pay later, for not knowing your regulations.

Until next time, have a safe and enjoyable time. Bring a friend or youth or both and make the trip to your state convention.

God bless all.

— Roger D. Macy
