NTA DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Just a note to let you know that the U.P. Trappers Association will be hosting the 2014 NTA Convention in Escanaba, Michigan which is located on Little Bay de Noc in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.
We are excited about what this can mean for our small community and for the U.P. Trappers Association. We are also aware of how much work will be involved to put on a successful NTA Convention – and we don’t just want it to be “successful” but want this to be one of the best ever!
Please let me know if you may be able to work a day or two at the convention as I am putting together a database of potential volunteers. I believe our Fair Board and the NTA are still negotiating the dates but the convention will either be held the last week of July or the first week of August in 2014.
Good luck on your traplines and other outdoor pursuits. — Bob Steinmetz
