The Montana Trappers Association 2011 Rendezvous will be held Sept 9-11 at the Lewistown, MT fairgrounds in central Montana. Local motels and camping spots are available. Dealers will have trapping supplies. Trapping and fur handling demonstrations will be presented. The banquet Saturday evening will be followed by an auction, raffle drawings, and a fur fashion show. Check the Montana Trappers Association website for more details regarding this rendezvous.

2:45pm    Donations taken for Pot Luck Supper
3:00pm    Skunk – trap, skin, flesh, stretch & essence
4:00pm    Coyote – snaring over draw baits
4:30pm    Donations for pot luck supper – last call
5:30 pm    Pot luck supper
7:00 pm    Annual Membership Meeting

Saturday September 10, 2011

9:00am    ADC – Business and techniques
10:00am    Lure making basics
11:00am    Coyote – air skinning & power wash fleshingS

2:00pm    Beaver – live trapping & relocation
2:30pm    Youth trap setting contest followed by adult trap setting
