NAFA Reports Record Raccoon and Coyote Sales

The North American Fur Auctions sale that concluded this weekend saw prices come down slightly for most wild fur compared to sales results from the February auction, but the organization reported record numbers of raccoon and coyote pelts were sold.

A report from NAFA indicated coyotes sold at more than 80 percent clearance with some of the better, heavier qualities being withdrawn. More than 436,000 raccoons were sold at the auction, and 100 percent of the wild mink offered sold at firm prices. Large offerings of bobcats, lynx and marten also sold at 100-percent clearance.

The full results are available on NAFA’s website. Saturday’s results are available HERE, Sunday’s results are available HERE and Monday’s results are available HERE.
