REPORT

The NHTA Directors held a monthly meeting December 4, 2012. The January 2013 monthly director’s meeting will be held at the conclusion of the fur sale Saturday, January 12th at the Belknap Sportsmen’s club in Gilford, NH.

NHTA will take part in the Farm & Forest Expo in Manchester, NH, at the Radisson (“Center of NH”) February 8th and 9th 2013. This year the association has arranged for a larger booth to accommodate a beaver dam/lodge replica as an exhibit. Volunteers are needed to assist in the assembly and man the booth. Dwight Pennell will take the lead on this project; he can be reached at 603-539-7954.

The annual fund-raising banquet will be held at Alan’s Restaurant in Boscawen, NH, February 23rd, 2013. Doors will open at 5pm for a social hour and the meal will be ready at 6 pm. We are asking for donations for auction items. Vice President Larry Torr has taken the lead again this year. You can leave a message for him at 603-742-7554 or you can speak with any director about items for donation or if you would like to assist with the events of the evening.

The NHTA Spring Meet will be held at the Belknap County Sportsmen’s Club in Gilford. That date is tentatively set for April 20th, 2013.

Belknap County Director Dan Dockham has agreed to continue as the association’s representative to the NH Wildlife Federation and Director Mike Morrison has volunteered to be the second delegate. Directors Peter Laughlin and Brian Denutte volunteered to be alternatives.

NHTA Directors voted to have green front-zip fleece jackets made up with the association’s logo on the front. They are available for $45 to non-members, $40 for members and $32 for directors. They will be available at the Banquet and the Spring Meet.

For those of you on-line, our new Membership and Web Director, Kathy Denutte, has been doing a great job updating the NHTA website and posting dates and reminders on Facebook. Thank you Kathy!

Best to all. — Paul DeBow, Grafton County Director
