Hello Everyone,

Summer is coming to a close and our thoughts are turning to the upcoming trapping season. Please note we have plans to be at the Tuckerton Decoy Show September 27 and 28th. Also our annual convention will be the first Sunday in November at Atsion Recreation area In Shamong NJ. Everyone should be aware of the proposed changes for the 2015 2016 game code. NJFH needs your support in these matters so get yourself educated on the issues and find out how you can help. The division is also preparing for trapper education training classes. I think there will be two classes scheduled in the south in September and October and also the Central region and the northern region a little later in October. Check the NJDEP website for more details. Members if you are having problems with your membership please let us know be patient and we will work things out, we have to be made aware you are having a problem in order to fix it. Also if you received a newsletter and your address sticker noted a bad email address please get in touch with our membership director or any of the other officers and we can get this straightened out. Using the email deliver for your newsletter saves the organization money, this money is used to support legislative initiatives in this state and others. Thanks to everyone who came out to the spring fur drop and made it happen. Fur prices dipped some last year and are probably going to dip a little more this year so keep that in mind when you are planning to buy a new truck with all your trapping money this year LOL!! NJFH hopes the remainder of your summer season is a healthy and fun time. See you at Tuckerton. — Andy Janson
