PRESIDENT’S REPORT

NJFH Members,

I hope your trapping season was a safe and successful season. Once again the NJFH has some big plans for the up coming year and we are always looking for help from our members. We have received a few phone calls from some younger (younger than me) members who wants to help out. This is what we need for this group to grow and keep it going in the right direction!

Spring will be here soon and believe it or not now is the time to start planning for the events we have in the Fall. At this time we are still looking for a Convention Coordinator and some other people to step up for other positions but first we will see what happens at the Spring meeting.

For me Spring is also the time for doing inventory on my traps and supplies for next year. If you forget about it until the Fall there will always be something you forget. The best thing I find is to write down the things you know you at the end of the season and when you do the inventory there is always more to add.

The NJFH will also have its summer BBQ but the location and date haven’t been decided yet but we will be sure to let you know.

Sorry for the short report but this is a busy time of the year for me.

— Curt Haberman
