VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT

Hello NC Trappers, I hope this report finds you well. This is going to be a short report as we are just in the middle of cleaning up after Hurricane Irene. Damage here was on the lite side, just a few shingles lost and limbs down. I guess that it’s part of life along the coast, still my heart goes out to those who lost family and property.

By the time you get this issue, our convention will have come and gone and we will be only weeks away from our trapping season starting. I trust that you all made it out to your district NCWRC public hearings. The hearings are your chance to make your voice heard.
I’ll close for now and promise to have more to report next month. Please remember to take a kid with you when trapping or any other outdoor pursuit. Sincerely.

— Tony W. White
