Hello to All..
We have just finished with the Wildlife Expo at the Lazy-E Arena at Guthrie. It was a little damp but didn’t rain us out. Just a sprinkled a little one day. Just cloudy and cool so was good for everyone. The LORD helped us to have a cool and dry time.
There were a lot of activities for all to keep them busy and enjoy. We were next to the dutch oven cooking, so we got to do some sampling with them, It was so good especially the cinnamon rolls, YUM – YUM.
We got to visit with the new fur biologist Aaron Ghaemi. He wants to help us as much as he can. He will be at the fall meeting so all can meet him hope you were there to meet him.
I want to thank all who helped at the Expo. They were Terry and Pam Waggoneer,Cody Presley, Darrell Woodward,Ron and Vivian Scott,David and Rhonda Marsh and Grandson Kyler , Leo Farmer and myself and wife.
By the time you get this we will have had the fall meeting so will report on it next time.
I hope all are ready for trapping season and have purchased all needed supplies.
We went to Glenda’s and got to look at the places to trap for the youth camp and there are a lot of good areas to trap. We have a lot who have already signed up.
We will be starting the gun raffle at the fall meeting. The drawing will be held at the spring meeting, The tickets will be at the fur sales also. The tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The gun is a
22-250 Savage Axis with a 3×9 scope. If you need tickets contact me and we will make arrangements to get them to you.
God Bless All. — Gene Callaway
