PRESIDENT’S REPORT

Hello SC Trappers,

I hope everyone is having a good season on the line. It felt kind of funny being able to set traps in December, but it was really satisfying to know we got the job done and we can now trap the way we used to and the way we ought to be able to. It was accomplished because we all worked together and kept the pressure on. Congratulations everybody. I met recently with my state representative and presented her with the bill we will be working on this year. When I get a number on it we’ll be in contact with you to contact your reps and get them to sign on and get it pushed through. We hope to get it introduced in the Senate at the same time. I will update you more in the next newsletter.

Thanks to all that attended the convention and especially to Jim for the delicious Low country boil. Lets all try and introduce someone new to our sport this year. Good Luck for the rest of the season.

— Ricky Williams
