Hello fellow tfha members,

At the time of this writing our fall meet is only a couple of weeks away. During the past year tfha has been active on many fronts through out Tenn, From trapper training opportunities through out the state, our spring meet at Harrison Bay state park, dist 5 at Gee Creek, numerous booths at different events, fur sales, and our fall meet at Fall Creek Falls. TFHA members have busy lives and make a lot of sacrifices in the name of promoting trapping in Tenn. Many of our members are well know for their abilities and sought after by other states to do demos and instruction at their perspective events. We work closely with the TWRA on issues that pertain to trapping and are always willing to lend a hand where needed. To say you are a member of the Tenn. Fur Harvesters is a title that can be stated with pride and dignity. I’m proud to be a part of such a group of people.

We are currently making plans for the upcoming fur sale and will need several volunteers in order for these sales to be success full for the trappers who sell furs at our events. We are also starting to plan for the coming year anyone interested in helping at booths, at our meets etc. or have events you’d like tfha to be represented at please let one of the officer know. We are looking at getting some new banners as well as a couple of extra sets of fur to be used at events across the state, our Hall of Frame trailer fund continues to grow and one day will be a reality. Yes tfha is an active group of trappers and has an organization the membership can be proud of. Thank you to all those who have worked over the last thirty plus years to build the strong organization we are today. — John Daniel
