FUR SALE REPORT

Hope that your trapping season is going well. In Northern Utah we have been slammed with snow and cold weather. Prior to Thanksgiving we had a morning that was 15 below zero. Needless to say water trapping became under ice trapping. It should make for some fun and exciting bobcat trapping.

The fur sale is set for the weekend of February 11-13. It will start on Friday to check in fur and end on Sunday. Fur check in will be on Friday and Saturday. It will be in Nephi again. It sounds like bobcats are going to do really good. We usually have a lot of bobcats and the buyers come wanting to bid on bobcats.

The officers will be sending out a flyer to give you exact times and dates. It is a always a good time.

There is currently a good demand for green pelts and frozen animals in the carcass. We have a really good order for raccoons. The want several so if you don’t want to put them up this may be a really good option for you. There is a good order for ringtail cats, spotted skunk, badger, ermine, mink and gray fox. These orders change almost daily with what is wanted and how many. I am pretty sure that I have a buyer for most of the animals that you catch. I recommend that you call me to get prices and how many animals are wanted. As always you will pay no commission. All of the commissions will be paid by the buyer. Let me know if you are interested. Stan Bassett 435-245-4508.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Best of luck.

— Stan Bassett
