SECRETARY’S REPORT

MAY

Hello Trappers,

It’s camp out time! This year the camp out is on June 15Th and 16Th. It will be located at the Little Valley Camp Ground in West Tintic. This area provides opportunities to fish at Vernon Reservoir with lots of trails for hiking and riding AT V’s, there are also places to go shooting, If you like to geocache there are some in the area as well. Jody and Jerry Carlson have done a great job with getting the UTA this campsite. For any questions regarding the camp out please call Jerry and Jody Carlson at 435-433-6807. For driving directions to the camp out you can check out utahtrappers.org or the UTA’s Facebook page.

Nationals are right around the corner. This year it will be in Blackfoot, Idaho on June 7th-9Th. With Idaho being right next to Utah let’s see how many UTA members we can get there to support the NTA. Nationals are always a great time. The UTA will have a booth like years past, so stop on by and say hi.

This year for the RAC meetings Kent and Travis are hard at work. If you would like to know the RAC meeting time in your area please go to the UTA web page, utahtrappers.org. We will have them posted later this month.

Also don’t forget to send in your UTA ballots. Like most of you know this is an election year for the UTA. Please send in your votes for the new officers. We have great candidates running this year. After you have voted you will need to send your ballot to Kent Fowden. His address is list above.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the up coming events. If anyone has questions please feel free to email me at UTA.amber21@yahoo.com.

I hope you have a great summer! — Amber Bassett
