Our 44th Annual WV Trappers Convention will be held September 14-16, 2012 in Glenville, WV. There will be several demos on trapping and snaing. Trappers Eduacation classes will be held on Saturday. Lots of vendors will be set up selling trapping supplies for the upcoming trapping season.
W.H. “Wib” Coakleys daughter, Edna, 92 will receive WVTA Honorary Membership in appreciation for sharing her Fathers photos and information with us. Mr. Coakleys fur was chosen as the best handled fur in the US for the 1936-37 trapping season which won him a 1937 Plymouth sedan car. More updates on the Convention in the next issue.
