SECRETARY/TREASURER’S REPORT

The trapping season is quickly coming to an end. Several of you had an exceptional year both trapping and profit wise. Congratulations to all of you.

As you will notice President Bowden did not file a Presidents report this month. He just under went shoulder replacement surgery and is recovering in good shape. If you wish please send him an email wishing him a fast recovery. I have received a few calls concerning your magazine. Please be patient, it will come. I suspect most of this confusion stems from renewing your membership at the annual meeting instead of waiting until your membership dues notice from TPC comes. Please wait for this notice instead of renewing at the meeting.

As you have read in the Presidents Report, there are a few issues concerning trapping that the GF&P want to address. Your Board of Directors met in March to discuss what our position will be. Stay tunned to this column or contact one of Board members to express your concerns or ask questions.

This months officer Introduction is our Webb Master, Jim Halls. Jim is a outdoors person who enjoys the shooting sports, fishing & bird hunting. Jim grew up in Hot Springs and now resides in Rapid City where works for Golden West Technologies. He along with his wife Jill and their daughter Payton are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new baby to arrive in May. Congratulations to them! This also means that I will have another Grand Daughter to enjoy.

Membership is slowing down. We need more numbers. You may want to consider converting your single membership to a family membership. This seems to be catching on with most members.

We are still planning to have a Spring Meeting however we have not been able to nail down a location. Keep reading this column or go to our Web site to follow the action. If you have pictures of your your trapping success please send them to Jim and he will post on the site.

Until next time. — Tuffy Halls
