You asked for comments on the subject so here goes: I think the use of the term is too close to the word fart and lowers the class of your newspaper. I don’t mean to be a prude, but standards should be set.
It seems that we have become so relaxed in this country that some people think anything can be said or done; and it indeed does not. Just my two cents.
